Program Instructions
Please see the course schedule on this page for the first year of the program (2 semesters). Students have the flexibility to choose between 4-, 3- and 2-year programs based on the course load they want to take on. If you run into any issues or questions during the registration process, email contact-grp@hua.edu.
Registration Instructions & Conditions:
- If you run into any issues or questions during the registration process, please email contact-grp@hua.edu.
- First decide if you want to sign-up for the 4-year, 3-year or 2-year program.
- Use the course links above to register for courses based on your program preference.
- All students MUST register for at least 4 courses by June 15th, 2020. The total cost will be $1800 for 4 courses. So, a 4-year program student must register for all 4 courses of the first 2 semesters, a 3-year program student must register for all 3 courses of the first semester and at least one course of the second semester, and a 2-year program student must register for all 4 courses of the first semester.
- Course registrations must be completed before June 15th, 2020. Registrations after June 15th will incur a late fee of $15 per course.
- We encourage students to register for all 4 (or more) courses at once. If not, you can register for the Vyakarana 1 course immediately to reserve your spot on the program. However, you should register for the remaining 3 (or more) courses before June 15th, 2020.
- The listed course fee is $900 per course. However, students who are enrolled in the MA or Graduate Certificate program will receive a 50% discount off the listed course fees.
- When paying for the course, use the coupon code sanskrit-ma-2020 to apply a 50% discount off the listed prices.
- Preferred payment method is through secure ACH using your checking account. Credit card or Paypal payments incur a 3% processing fee.
- Note: Once the student has been admitted in the course, no part of the course fee will be refunded if the student discontinues or drops off from the program. The fees can be held in the student’s name for use in a future course.
ACH Fee Payment Instructions:
- Automated Clearing House (ACH) is our preferred method of payment for all US-based students. It is safe and secure, backed by the industry-leading Stripe payment gateway.
- In this mode, you will provide your checking account number and routing number. These numbers are clearly printed on all your checks, and as such not considered confidential. It is perfectly okay to share these numbers online. Every time you give or mail a check, you are sharing these numbers.
- The first time you pay for a course through ACH, you will have to do a 2-step process to complete the payment. This 2-step process ensures the security of your account and guards against any unauthorized transactions.
- At the time of course registration, you will provide your checking account and routing numbers. Soon after, you will receive an email with an account confirmation link.
- Within 1-3 days, the Stripe payment processor will make 2 microtransactions in your checking account for very small amounts of a few cents. Please check your bank account and make a note of these small amounts. There will be 2 or 3 microtransaction amounts.
- Next, click on the account confirmation link in the original email you received soon after paying for the course, and confirm the amounts of the microtransactions. This will confirm your checking account to Stripe, and the full amount of the course fees will be deducted from your checking account. That will complete the payment for your course registration.
